Summer Experience Camps
The Academy of Holy Angels is proud to once again offer Summer Experience to our grade school students from throughout the Twin Cities area. Our community is known for our successful sports and co-curricular activities and also for a strong and caring team atmosphere. We are happy to offer your sons and daughters the opportunity to experience a taste of our activities and The AHA Way culture of our school.
While this year’s camps are focused primarily on incoming 6th-9th graders, please note that there are some exceptions that may be found in the descriptions of each event. Note that the camps are scheduled in two-hour blocks which allow for the opportunity to participate in more than one camp a day.
We hope you take this opportunity to check out our activities, meet our experienced coaches and moderators, and have a fun time!
The Star Power Speed and Strength Program is an opportunity for student athletes to maximize their athletic potential. Star Power training represents the most advanced athletic training technologies available. These technologies include use of interval treadmill training, ground-based training, plyometrics, strength training, and resistance core training. They are designed to improve all aspects of athletic performance—strength, power, speed, agility, injury prevention and flexibility.
Besides teaching the body how to move, the Star Power Speed and Strength Program has the ability to show athletes how to successfully conquer the mental and physical components of their sport. Athletes will learn how to focus, gain confidence, and BELIEVE in themselves. The knowledge and skill athletes will gain from this program can be applied to any sport and throughout an entire athletic career.
Is your Physical up to date?
A physical is required every 3 years to participate in a sport.
Make sure it doesn't expire before the season ends!
